The WA Rural Health Long Service Award are presented to general practitioners and medical specialists who have served rural and regional Western Australia for 20, 30, 40 or 50 years. These recipients will be formally recognised on stage and presented with a physical award and certificate.
If a recipient is unable to attend, their award, certificate and commemorative booklet will be posted to their nominated address following the ceremony.
To be presented an award at the 2027 ceremony, recipients must have achieved the required years of service by 1 January 2027. Recipients are identified through the Rural Health West database and are notified personally.
